The movie "Fired Up" was written by Freedom Jones and was directed by Will Gluck. This movie was released on February 20th, 2009. Fired Up is a comedy that involves the two most popular guys in highschool. These two boys, Nick (Eric Christian Olsen) and Shawn (Nicholas D'Agosto), are the captains of the football team and they were supposed to go to a football camp for two weeks. Instead of doing that they decided to hit up a cheerleading camp for a couple weeks to try to get laid. On the poster the tagline reads "2 Guys. 300 Girls. You do the math." With this catchy saying it got the attention of many teenage guys because its what every teenage boy dreams of. It turns out that Nick and Shawn ended up falling inlove with the sport of cheerleading.
What did I like in this movie? Olsen and D'Agosto really knew how to take their roles and really make them humorous. This movie is a comedy that ties in a little bit of romance. Its a movie that teenage boys can basically relate to which also makes it interesting for teenage girls to watch.
What are some downfalls in the movie? The thing that I didn't like about "Fired Up" was that it was very predictable. This movie didn't bring anything new to the genre and just kept it simple. There were no risks in the film which is ironic considering "you gotta risk it to get the biscuit" was a main line in the film.
Overall i really liked this movie, considering I saw it twice in theatres. Its a comedy that will keep you laughing. It was worth the money. I would rate it as HOT.

Nice review! At my age, this kind of movie isn't my cup of tea (well, I actually don't like tea), but you do a good job of making me consider it.
